Michael Dening | Principal

Michael DeningMichael Dening has over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate construction and management.

Michael began his construction career in 1965 working with commercial contractors, including Turner Construction, as a construction engineer on projects in the United States, the United Kingdom and Spain. From 1972 to 1979, he worked with two real estate development companies, one in the United Kingdom and the other in the United States, both involved primarily in the development of warehouse and distribution facilities.

In 1979, Michael formed Devon for acquisition, development, and renovation of commercial office buildings, warehouses, and retail centers.

Michael received a degree in Civil Engineering from Bristol University (UK), and a Masters in Financial Management from the London School of Economics.


Tom Rhodes | Controller

Tom Rhodes has managed accounting functions with real estate and construction companies since 1977, working for Yeargin Construction in Charlotte, North Carolina from 1977 to 1981; J.A. Jones Construction Company in Richmond, Virginia from 1981 to 1984; and then Devon USA from 1984 to present.

Tom received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 1977, majoring in accounting and finance.


Wayne Stanley | Property Manager

Wayne Stanley has been employed by Devon USA and predecessor companies since 1979. During that time, he has been involved in all aspects of property maintenance and management. Wayne has a complete and thorough knowledge of leases and all building mechanical systems, electrical, plumbing, and landscaping, and ensures that all Devon USA properties are managed to the high standards established by the company.
